Eddie Bowley (born October 23, 1982), also known as Eddache, is a British writer, director, producer, voice actor, and YouTuber. He began co-writing with Tom in early 2013; his first official credit for co-writing is on Guitar Warfare in May 2013[1].
Eddie has been a frequent writer, director, producer, and actor/voice actor on TomSka sketches (both live action and animated). He has also made frequent appearances on TomSka & Friends and is part of the TryHards trio with Elliot and Tom.
Personal Work[]
Eddie got his start as a content creator on various animation forums; he specifically joined YouTube in June 2006 and Newgrounds in September 2007 under the username Eddache. This was around the time he met Tom, who Eddie asked to provide voices for his animated short series, Edd Egg. Tom then promptly wrote a blog post describing how much it sucked - Eddie then found said post.[2]
Besides animations, on YouTube, Eddie has previously posted vlogs, sketch comedy, and film parodies. Notable series include Shark Movies, Top 10 Bad, and the Screen Flickers podcast.
Starting in 2018 with the major success of How to Solve Who Shot Mr. Burns[3], Eddie shifted the focus of his YouTube channel to discussion of (mostly) animated media, breaking down tropes and attempting to answer the less-often asked questions within.
Outside of personal work or with Tom, Eddie has written for BeanoToons, Weebl, and Mashed, among others[4]. He also does voice acting[4].
